Real-Time Bidding

Real-Time Bidding

Real-Time Bidding (RTB) is a method used in digital advertising that enables advertisers to purchase ad inventory on a per-impression basis, often in real time. Heres how it works:

  1. When a user visits a website, the ad space on that site is put up for auction in milliseconds.
  2. Advertisers specify their target audience and bid an amount they are willing to pay to display their ad to that audience.
  3. The highest bidders ad gets displayed to the user in the ad space on the website.

RTB allows advertisers to reach their target audience more effectively by only paying for ad impressions that are likely to be relevant to their audience. This method also provides advertisers with real-time data and insights to optimize their ad campaigns based on performance.
